Ok, je suis à la ramasse, je ne connaissais pas ce film, mais il est passé hier soir sur Arte, et ça remue... Un bon film à voir histoire d'ouvrir les yeux sur les tragédies de ce monde...

Voilà qlq jour qu'on parcourt la France avec Vanessa, Thomas et D'Art... Quel plaisir de les revoir et de leur faire découvrir "ma" culture :) ! Daryl et Becky arrivent en Mai, Moise passe ds le coin fin Avril... Bref, j'vais avoir de la visite du continent Nord Américain :)

Et bientôt, visite de la Lituanie avec la miss Indre :))) Yessssssssssss

Hier soir, direction La Defense juste après le boulot pour voir Paris, le nouveau film de Klapish... Juliette Binoche crève l'écran, elle est splendide au naturel ! Je n'aime pas toujours Romain Duris, meme si son interpretation de ce jeune homme malade est émouvante, Lucchini est fabuleux... Mais j'avoue que j'ai été un peu déçue par le film, j'en attendais un peu plus !

Ce petit blog n'existe plus... Bon, ok, j'ai fait ça sur un coup de tête suite à un léger énervement, et je regrette un peu... (voire beaucoup...). Mais ce blog était associé à mon ancienne vie, il est temps que je tourne la page et fasse table rase du passé. Le nouveau est en préparation...

Et oui, ce blog avait pour mission de tenir informer mes amis/famille en France de mes péripéties à Houston et à travers les USA. Mais du coup, avec mon retour en France, il n'a plus vraiment lieu d'être... Je vais peut ouvrir un autre blog en anglais pour que mes amis américains puissent suivre mes péripéties en France et ds la jungle parisienne... Donc au revoir petit blog :))), merci pour ces 20 mois ensemble...

This blog had a special mission: to inform my family and friends in France, to tell them my adventures in Houston and throught the States. Now that I am in France, it's no use anymore. Maybe I will open another blog for my American friends, so that they will be able to follow my adventures in France and in the jungle which is Paris... So bye bye little blog, thanks for those 20 months together...

Et oui, Paris est paralysé depuis qlq jours! A l'intérieur même, ya moyen de se débrouiller, mais pour aller à Rueil, c'est la croix et la bannière, j'ai mis 40 minutes de métro et 1h30 de bus hier matin... Pas question de refaire ça, j'ai l'arme absolue à la maison... :) 20km par jour, j'vais avoir de bonnes jambes pour la saison de ski !

Paris is paralized by strikes now since few days! Inside Paris, you can manage to find some subways, but in order to reach Rueil, what a mess ;)! It took me 40 minutes of subway and then 1 and a half hour yesterday morning! No way I will do that again, I have the absolute weapon at home... 20km per day, I will have strong legs for the ski season :)

Une soudaine insomnie dans cette chambre glauque à Manchester me donne envie de mettre à jour mon blog... Désolée Benoit, ton PC aura plus de batteries demain, ça, c'est sur :). Alors voilà qlq news de ma dernière semaine... Jeudi matin à l'aube, Rémi, Benoit, Stephane et moi meme avons décolé de Orly pour passer deux jours ds le Sud, à Manosque! On est arrivé à temps pour voir l'interface effectuée sur l'un des puits ainsi que sa remise en lessivage! Bien interessant. On en a profité pour faire le tour du site, rencontrer les personnes de Geosel,... Vendredi, après un repas divin et une bonne nuit, de retour sur le site, et là, surprise, ya BCP de vent et ça caille! Je finirai en esquimau... Il m'a fallu un moment pour récupérer mes pieds après tout ça :))). Vendredi soir, on a réussi à prendre l'avion de 18h mais il est tellement en retard qu'on arrive à 20h à Paris, et 21h chez moi. Le temps de prendre une douche, et je file chez Clementine pour l'anni de Ju! Ca m'a fait plaisir de revoir plein de gens et de voir P'tit Ju avec des étoiles ds les yeux :))). Il était bien content qu'on soit tous là.

Pas le droit de prendre de photos sur le site (ou du moins, de les faire partager sur ce blog), donc voilà juste les photos du resto :)))

Samedi matin, direction Grenoble avec Tuchu, Laurette, Ben et Kim pour l'anni de Lorette (25 ans...). On s'est tous retrouvé à 15h30 ds le Jardin de ville avec nos épreuves préparées spécialement pour la miss, mais elle n'arrive que vers 16h30 et tout le monde est congelé. On finira donc chez Sandrine. Je ne finirai malheureusement pas la soirée avec eux (ils iront au resto), le moral étant ds les chaussettes à ce moment là (et on peut pas dire que cela se soit arrangé, c'est plutot le début de la fin, là... M'enfin, j'm'y attendais un peu...). Bref, une fin de WE de merde... Mis à part que pédaler 30 minutes sous la pluie, passer deux heures avec Jeannie et Xav et regarder des photos de ski de rando, à parler de l'hiver dernier, de ce qui se passait ds nos vies, son boulot, ses prblèmes, Houston, Fred,... Ca remet du baume au coeur... Enfin, c'est ce soir que j'en aurais besoin, du baume :)))

Bon, il semblerait que je ne peux pas charger les photos right now... Pour plus tard...

Insomnia last night in a sordid hotel room in the middle of nowhere, so I want to update my blog! Sorry Benoit, your PC won't have batteries anymore tomorrow morning :). So, some news from my last week... Thursday really early, Rémi, Benoit, Stephane and myself took off from Orly in order to spend 2 days in the South in Manosque. We arrived in time to see an interface on one well and then his leaching! Really interesting! We could visit the site, meet all the people there from Geosel,... Friday, after an awesome dinner and a good night, we're back on site and there is sooooo much wind, it's freezing. I didn't have enough clothes and it took me a long time to have my feet back after spending a day in the wiond :)). Friday evening, we could take an early flight (6pm), but it was pretty late and we arrived in Paris at 8pm, and I was at my place at 9pm. Quick shower, and I left for Clementine's place for Julien's birthday! It was so great to see people I didn't see for a while and Julien had sparkling eyes to see all of us. Awesome moment!

Saturday morning, with Tuchu, Laurette, Ben and Kim, we took the train for Grenoble in order to attend to Lorette's birthday (my ex roomate). We all met in the Jardin de Ville but waited a LONG time before she came, and we were all freezing by the time she arrived (bad idea to wear a skirt... Grrr). We all ended at Sandrine's place in order not to die because of the cold :))). In the evening, they went to the restaurant but I stayed home... The end of the week end was pretty awful but that's life (and it's worst since...). Sunday, I was supposed to go hiking, but I didn't have the heart to meet my friends... But I went at Jeannie's place (30 minutes biking udner the rain...), we spoke about back country skiing, last winter, what was going on in our lifes, Houston, her job, Fred,...

Désolée, pas trop le temps d'écrire... C'est un peu chargé en ce moment, et comme j'ai pas encore internet à la maison... Ce soir, je suis à Manchester pour qlq jours, je reviens pile poil pour la grève :)))

Wednesday 31st...

After a day at work (Ok, I was lazy that day...), I ran to Liz's appartment, in fact, my future appartment for the check out/check in. After one hour, few signatures, I have the keys of my appartment! Yeahhhhhhh! Now, it's time to run to Flo's appartment, to pick up my stuff and take my train. 20h45, my TGV (Train à Grande Vitesse) is leaving Paris! After 3 hours, I am arriving in Grenoble where Gaelle, Violaine and Cedric are picking me up, in order to celebrate Halloween.

First day - Thursday, first of November...

We woke up at 11am with my sister and after a huge lunch, Champlo came to pick me up in order to climb in St Egreve. A little and easy multipitches, really nice! It was great to see him as last time we saw each other was 20 months ago (as I couldn't see him when I came back last December). Then, I spent the evening with my grand mother, chatting.

Second day - Friday...

Biniou wanted to cancel our day but I can be persuasive sometimes. So at 7am, he was picking me up in order to do "Crotte de Bique", a multipitches really easy but with snow /ice at this season... 8am, we were walking and we reached the beginning of the route at 9:30am... And that was the beginning of the difficulties! After the first pitch, we couldn't find the end of the route, and at one point, I really thought the helicopter would have to take us :). But we finally ended on the ground, and went back to the car. Nice day, great landscapes, but not sure, I will go back with Bibi ;)))

Then, scrabble with my grand mother (I won!!!) and in the evening, it was family dinner, and we ended chatting until really late with my grand mother and parents. Nice evening!

Saturday - Sunday...

Saturday morning, Violaine, Cedric and I left Grenoble and after 2 hours; we reached the parking lot of Plan d'Amont, where all the Debilzzz where waiting for us. A small hike and we were at the refuge where we started drinking around 5pm. It was a really nice evening, good friends, great atmosphere, amazing clear sky and tons of stars... Some of us didn't sleep that night but I slept as a baby until 9 in the morning. It was decided that we were all going for a small hike to the top of the Pointe de l'Observatoire. Nice view, amazing day... I love my mountains :)))
